Hace dos años los habitantes habían recibido una orden de desalojo, los habitantes, trabajadores precarios y de bajos recursos, siguieron viviendo en la casa esperando para una solución habitacional definitiva.
El gobierno de la ciudad nunca cumplió con este derecho y los habitantes siempre vivieron abajo de la amenaza de desalojo. Las ultimas dos tentativas llegaron el día 23 de junio y el día 25. Con el día 8 de julio se cumplió el desalojo definitivo.
Todo esto en línea con la estrategia de expulsión de la gente de bajos recursos desde el centro de la ciudad, adoptada por el gobierno Macri en Buenos Aires Capital Federal.
